Tomorrow (Wednesday) is Crazy Hair Day at Dogwood. This special day is planned by our leadership students in grade seven. I did a quick Google search and found lots of "crazy" ideas. Have fun!

Today we went to Betty Huff School to watch their performance of Beauty and the Beast. The cast and crew were all elementary school aged kids. They did a fantastic job. I was especially proud of the excellent audience manners from our class. Well done. Thanks to the parents who drove on this trip.
Parents, remember we are going to Betty Huff School on Monday morning to watch the performance of Beauty and the Beast. If you are not driving, remember to send your child's booster seat to school. If you are driving, please come to the classroom at 9:10. All children will need a small snack in their jacket pocket (i.e. granola bar, etc.). Thanks.
Today the grade one children participated in our School Wide Write. They chose an animal picture and wrote as much as they could describing their animal. We worked in the hallway where there were no words to copy. The kindergartens got to play on iPads.
We have been working on oil pastel landscape pictures with Mrs. Mitchell. Watch for your child’s beautiful picture on their FreshGrade portfolio.
Today in the library we made boats out of tin foil and cardboard. At centres, some kids tested their boats in our sink.
Just a reminder to parents that Monday is our class photo day. Make sure your child is at school on time as we will have our picture taken early in the day!
