Today we celebrated Dominik and Jaspreet's birthdays. We watched a movie about our elf and had a Christmas sing-along in the gym. Thank-you to the many families who sent gifts for myself and Mrs. Acuna. We really appreciate your thoughtfulness. Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday and we'll see you back at school on January 3.

We had a wonderful day at Grouse Mountain today. We rode the tram, took a sleigh ride, slid down the hill, watched a movie, and had a visit with Santa and his reindeer. Thanks to the parents who came on this trip.
Today we were very excited to receive a letter back from Santa. We were just doing our morning calendar when our secretary, Mrs. Geisbrecht, came in wearing her coat and gloves. She said she heard some jingle bells outside the office and then a loud thump. She ran to the door and some snow got kicked onto her shoulder. She heard sleigh bells ringing but the sleigh was gone. On the ground right by the door she found a large envelope from the North Pole. It was addressed to our class. Here we are receiving our very cold letters from Santa!
Today we found our elf having a marshmallow snowball fight with Alphadog. Also, we enjoyed a wonderful multicultural lunch. Thanks to everyone for contributing such wonderful food. A special thanks to the moms who helped set up and clean up.
Tomorrow is our multicultural lunch with our big buddies in Mrs. Deamer's class. Please send in your contribution in the morning. We are serving the lunch at 11:30, so if you are dropping something off, make sure it is before then. Any platters or dishes you need returned should have your child's name on the bottom of them. If your child is participating in this special lunch, you only need to send your contribution and a recess snack to school tomorrow. If you have not returned the lunch permission slip, I assume that you would not like your child to participate so be sure to send a lunch for your own child. Thanks.
Today we found our elf and Alphadog climbing on the Christmas monkey bars. This afternoon we made Christmas cards to go to the Surrey Food Bank. Then we made our gingerbread houses with Mrs. Hansen' class.
Remember that tomorrow we are making gingerbread houses at school. Please send in a small amount of candy to decorate the houses. Also, I am missing some multicultural lunch forms and some Freshgrade forms. Please get those in tomorrow. Today our elf made a teeter totter with Alphadog.
Today we found our elf playing with Alphadog and a toy reindeer. They had made a slide and were taking turns going down. Just a reminder to return you Freshgrade notice as well as the notice about the multicultural lunch. Please indicate what you will be sending as your contribution. Thanks
Today we found our elf, Jingle, playing with our train set. We also wrote our letters to Santa then we walked in the snow to mail them.
