Today we found our elf had made his own monkey bars and he was sitting at the top. We all gave him a Christmas hug goodbye. Thanks for the many lovely gifts. I feel very fortunate to be working with such wonderful kids from great families. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.
First this morning we found our elf had made a slide with our blocks. He was playing with Bucky Beaver, Alphadog and our stuffed reindeer. Tomorrow we are allowed to touch him! Today was also had our turkey lunch day. What a feast! Thanks to the many parent helpers who cooked the side dishes, served us and then cleaned up. Just to let parents know we will be watching the short movie, "An Elf's Story" at school on Friday. It is based on the book, Elf on the Shelf. Today we found our elf in our dollhouse. He seems to really like our toys. He is going to ask Santa if he could stop the touching rule for just one day so we could all give him a hug goodbye on Friday. Just a reminder that our trip to Grouse Mountain that was scheduled for Tuesday has been cancelled. I sent home refunds today. At school today we had fun turning kids into reindeer on the Smartboard. We found our elf in the house centre and he was sneaking the candy that Joven brought. Today when we came to school there was a long stretch of toilet paper starting from the boys bathroom and coming over our computer and onto the Smartboard. Our elf was sitting on top of the Smartboard holding the other end of the toilet paper. After lunch we did three crafts with Mrs. Mitchell's class. We painted a Christmas tree on our t-shirts, made a snowman card and made a fun foam door hanger. Today our elf was looking for some shoes to wear. He dumped out all our shoe bags on the floor. We found him wearing Felix's shoes which must be the smallest. He also left is a note asking about more ju jubes. |
