Today we celebrated our 100th day of school. We started by doing 100 claps, 100 stomps, 100 jumps and 100 seconds of silence. Then we wrote the numbers to 100, did 100 tallies and helped build a structure out of 100 building materials. We chose from tiles, cubes, pattern blocks, lego and cups. Then we used an iPad app to show how we will look when we are 100 years old. The photos are on the front of your child's 100 Day Booklet.

Check your child's Freshgrade portfolio for videos of their balances and rolls in the gym.
Remember that tomorrow is Pink Shirt Day to promote anti-bullying. Remind your child to wear a pink shirt tomorrow. Also, we have been working hard this week on the houses of the Three Little Pigs. We hope to finish this big project this week. It's a big job but they are turning out great.
Here is a favourite clip which combines The Three Little Pigs and Little Red Riding Hood. This week we are looking at a variety of versions of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
Today we worked hard on our School Wide Write. We spent some time reviewing what we knew about bears and then the children were asked to write as many sentences as they could about bears. We worked in the hallway so there were no words to copy. They had to do their own spelling. Here we are working hard. I will post your child's writing on their Freshgrade portfolio.
Recently we have read many versions of The Three Little Pigs and Little Red Riding Hood. We have also been singing some songs about these stories. Here are the cartoon videos of the songs for these two fairy tales.
